Mental health comes first at MJAllen Group
The MJAllen Group is pleased to announce we have had further members of staff appointed as qualified Mental Health First Aiders which brings our total assistance team to its highest ever level.
With a large team across several businesses we are acutely aware of the recent stresses and strains placed our workforce due to covid, European war and the global energy crisis. Mental health issues can happen suddenly or can build up gradually but there will always be an understanding ear at MJAllen as we continue to invest heavily in our staff welfare and health resources.
We take our duty of care towards all employees very seriously and this recent appointment of additional mental health first aiders is just one more step towards this goal.
As a Group network of companies, any member of staff, regardless where they work, can request to speak to a trained and competent member of staff to discuss any concerns and to help further their employment and home-work-life balance. We encourage similar positive action across our surrounding communities and hope to play a small part in improving the wellbeing and mental health of everyone we can.
