About us

The MJAllen Group

We are a family-owned, British business established in 1958 and based in Kent.

We are industry experts in engineering patterns and castings, CNC machining and laser-cutting, architectural metalwork and structural steel, punch tooling and dies, precision metrology, after-market OEM+ clutch and brake kits and the design and build of automotive and agricultural transmission systems.

The Group is made of five individual businesses and numerous individual brands with an annual turnover of £35million.

Our knowledgable team consists of over 250 professional and dedicated people. Experts in their fields and professionally certified where required.

We manage over a dozen award-winning and international brands that span various fields - from metrology to metalworking.

“We’re here to promote British engineering through our network of established businesses and expertly skilled workforce. As a family business, we put people first.”

— Ben Allen, Group MD

Our charity work

We’re proud to continue our positive charity work and have chosen to support Prostate Cancer UK as our Group charity for 2024. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK and about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives. Our support is helping to fund care and research for families across the UK, now and for future generations.

Made in Britain

We’ve been manufacturing in Britain for over 60 years and are proud to support the livelihoods and successes of fellow British businesses as members of the Made In Britain collective.

Our business policies

We believe in doing business sustainably, honestly and ethically. Our terms of service are available here for all customers and future clients to access and we welcome all enquiries.

Safety

Our Target Zero policy ensures our whole team is working together to make manufacturing greener and safer for our workforce and communities.

Sustainability

As a large British business working within key industries like automotive, construction and manufacturing, we recognise our responsibility to protect and shape our future environment.
