Family run fun

The MJA Group is a third-generation, family-run, large-sized business that incorporates a variety of small to medium-sized enterprises.

We are one of Europe's specialists in our manufacturing and distribution fields and combine this enjoyable success with hard work and a pragmatic approach to innovation and investment.

Our 250+ employees work in environments where we treat each other with respect and encourage the open sharing of ideas and knowledge. We welcome feedback from all levels and we encourage better ways of doing things, whether suggestions come from the top or bottom of our organisation.

  • Working here has given me the opportunity to get involved with multi-million pound contracts and really boosted my skillset.

  • Millions of pounds have been invested in our machinery and it shows. I’m proud to work in such a forward-thinking company.

  • We feel like one big family more than individual colleagues. Teamwork is really important here and everyone helps out.

  • Quality and standards are more important than prices here. I feel my skills are really appreciated by management.

Manufacturing futures

After over six decades of trading, we know what it takes for each of our companies to continue reporting positive growth year on year. But we know that our staff want to grow and develop as well.

It's no longer positive to hold the same position for life and we constantly encourage our team to add to their career opportunities through on the job training and learning as well as additional courses and development classes. We're proud to see regular advancement and appointment to senior positions from within our long-standing staff pool.

To complement this future-thinking approach to personal development, we ensure that we are regularly upgrading and improving our working environment too. In the past three years we have invested over £5million in our facilities and a career with any MJAllen Group company will challenge and expose you to the latest engineering and manufacturing processes that keep our Group at the forefront of our sector.

Training for wellbeing

As a family-run business, we understand the need to care for our teams.

We are investing heavily in ongoing development programmes that allow all levels of staff to learn and gain accreditations within and around their sector discipline.

Industry recognised certifcations, external CPD courses and membership to affiliate or industry bodies are all encouraged and we provide the time and facilities for staff to achieve these. We also have fully trained Mental Health advisors with authorised schemes in place to help our staff handle stress, domestic concerns, wellness matters or financial difficulties.

We value each of our staff and recognise that, regardless of what we make across our various sites, it's people that make our business.
